Charitable Planning

This Group program provides practicing CPAs and other tax professionals with an advanced review of charitable planning strategies and the tax rules that govern them. The program examines the charitable deduction framework, including AGI limitations, carryforwards, and substantiation requirements; gifts of appreciated assets; donor advised funds and bunching strategies; Qualified Charitable Distributions; Charitable Remainder Trusts; Charitable Lead Trusts; and the differences between private foundations and donor advised funds. The course also introduces a diligence framework for leveraged and financed giving structures and applies key concepts through a case study comparing multiple charitable planning paths.

Learning Objectives:

  • Apply the AGI limitation grid—asset type by recipient type—with carryforward and substantiation rules.
  • Quantify the double benefit of appreciated-asset gifts and identify when it fails.
  • Select among DAF, QCD, CRT, CLT, and foundation vehicles based on donor profile.
  • Apply diligence questions to leveraged giving structures presented to clients.

Attendance Requirement
To receive the full CPE credit, participants must attend the entire program and complete all required participant engagement and completion-verification activities.
Refund & Cancellation Policy:

If Noble Wealth Solutions must cancel or reschedule a CPE program, registered participants will be notified by email as soon as possible, and whenever practical, at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled program. Participants will receive information regarding rescheduling or alternative program options, if available.
