The Restricted Property Trust™
This Group program introduces CPAs and other tax professionals to the Restricted Property Trust (RPT), which is a specialized planning strategy designed to help high-income business owners and professionals accumulate tax-advantaged wealth while leveraging the benefits of employer-sponsored contributions. The program reviews the historical context of welfare benefit plans; the RPT’s structure, funding mechanics, trust administration and risk-of-forfeiture features; relevant tax treatment and compliance considerations; comparisons with other executive benefit strategies; and case-study applications designed to help participants identify potential suitability, risks and compliance issues.
