Retirement Plan Architecture
This Group program provides practicing CPAs and other tax professionals with an advanced review of retirement plan architecture and tax-planning considerations. The program examines the qualified plan landscape, including limits, testing, and plan fit; defined benefit and cash balance plans; combined plan designs; nondiscrimination testing in owner-heavy demographics; the interaction between entity type, compensation, and contribution capacity; multi-year Roth conversion strategy; and nonqualified alternatives at a survey level. A case study compares three retirement plan architectures for an owner with significant income and a ten-year planning horizon.
